Follow these instructions for iPhone & iPod touch

Download and Install the Lexi-Comp Application to your iPhone

• Step 1: Tap the App Store icon.
• Step 2: Tap on "Search", type Lexi-Comp, and tap "Search" again.
• Step 3: Select Lexi-Comp Individual Application from the list.
• Step 4: Tap "FREE" then "INSTALL" and enter your iTunes Password.
• Step 5: Tap OK.

Register Your 30-day demo

• Step 6: Ensure that you have an active cellular or WiFi connection.
• Step 7: Open the application and accept the disclaimer.
• Step 8: Register product (i.e. Name, Email, Occupation, and Practice Setting).
  IMPORTANT: This information cannot be changed. Please review and ensure that the information entered is correct.
• Step 9: Select any databases you wish to demo or tap "Select All" in the top left corner to select all available databases.
• Step 10: Tap "Update" in the top right corner to proceed with the update.

Follow these instructions for Android

Download and Install the Lexi-Comp Application to your Phone

• Step 1: Ensure you have a strong wi-fi or cellular connection.
• Step 2: Navigate to http://android.lexi.com using the default browser on your phone.
• Step 3: Tap the Download Lexi-Comp ON-HAND link to download the MainActivity.apk file.
• Step 4: After the MainActivity.apk has been downloaded, tap on the file to begin installation.
• Step 5: You may see a message that reads, "Install Blocked. For security, your phone is set to block installation of applications not sourced in Android Market."
• Step 6: If so, tap on Settings and select, "Uknown Sources: Allow install of non-Market applications." Agree to the notice on your phone, hit the back button, and tap the MainActivity.apk file again to resume installation.
  
• Step 7: Agree to the notification and the software will install in a few seconds.

Register Your 30-day Trial

• Step 8: Open the Lexi-Comp ON-HAND application on your device.
• Step 9: If opening the application for the first time, please read and accept the license agreement.
• Step 10: Enter your registration information. If prompted, please select SD card for database storage.
• Step 11: Select the databases you wish to update, press the Menu button and tap Update Selected Items.

Follow these instructions for BlackBerry 5.0 devices!

Download and Install the Lexi-Comp Application to your BlackBerry 5.0 device

• Step 1: Ensure you have a strong wi-fi or cellular connection.
• Step 2: Navigate to http://blackberry.lexi.com using the default browser on your phone.
• Step 3: Click the Download Lexi-Comp ON-HAND link to download the Lexi-Comp Application.
• Step 4: Click the Download button.
• Step 5: You should receive a message that reads, "The application was successfully installed".
• Step 6: Click OK or RUN from this window.

Register Your 30-day Trial

• Step 7: Open the Lexi-Comp ON-HAND application on your device (this may be located in the Downloads folder).
• Step 8: If opening the application for the first time, please read and accept the license agreement.
• Step 9: Enter your registration information.
• Step 10: Before you can begin accessing your subscription, the databases need to be downloaded. Press the BlackBerry button and click Update.
• Step 11: Select the databases you wish to update and tap the "Update" button.

Follow these instructions for Palm Pre & Pixi

Download and Install the Lexi-Comp Application to your Pre & Pixi

• Step 1: Ensure you have a strong wi-fi or cellular connection.
• Step 2: Open the App Catalog application on your device.
• Step 3: Type Lexi-Comp in the search bar and tap the Search icon.
• Step 4: Tap Lexi-Comp ON-HAND, then tap the Download for free button.
• Step 5: After the download is complete, tap the Tap to Launch button.
• Step 6: Open the Lexi-Comp ON-HAND application on your device.
• Step 7: If opening the application for the first time, please read and accept the license agreement, then enter your registration information.
  IMPORTANT: This information cannot be changed. Please review and ensure that the information entered is correct.
• Step 8: Tap the Update button and then update any databases you'd like to trial.
  IMPORTANT: When updating, if you choose to update all databases, please ensure you are on a WIFI connection and are plugged into a power outlet. Updating all databases at one time will put a considerable strain on the battery so a power outlet is mandatory for a complete update.

Create Your Account

• Step 1: Visit our PDA Downloads page. If you have already created an account with us, enter your e-mail address and password. Otherwise, click the "Create New Account" button.
• Step 2: After logging in, click "Proceed to Lexi-CONNECT"

Install Your Trial Subscription

• Step 3: Lexi-CONNECT is an automated tool for installing, registering, and updating your Lexi-Comp subscription.
• Step 4: Lexi-CONNECT will prompt you to log in; please use the same email address and password used in step 1.
• Step 5: Connect your PDA to your computer. Please make sure you have installed the sync software that came with your device and performed one successful HotSync.
• Step 6: Verify your HotSync username. Select the HotSync icon on your Palm and the username that is displayed in the upper-right corner of the page. If a username is not displayed, the PDA has not yet had a successful sync with the computer.
• Step 7: Select the database you wish to download and click the "Download Now" button in Lexi-CONNECT. You will be prompted to select your Palm Desktop username; please select the name identified in Step 6.
• Step 8: A message will be displayed when the download is complete. Select "OK" to the message and then perform two consecutive HotSyncs. After the second sync is complete, the software should be installed and registered.

Update your Subscription

• Step 9: Connect your Palm to your computer and log into Lexi-CONNECT by double-clicking the icon located on your desktop.
• Step 10: Select the "Download Now" button in Lexi-CONNECT.
• Step 11: A message will be displayed when the download is complete. Select "OK" to the message and then perform a HotSync. After the sync is complete, the software should be updated and ready to use.

Create Your Account

  • If you're asked to install to the PDAs "default application installation directory" click "NO" and then select your main memory or memory card.
• Step 7: Once the readers are installed and the databases have finished downloading, a "Sync in Progress" window will be displayed. While this message is displayed, the databases will be transferred to your PDA. Please do not disconnect until this window has disappeared.

Update your Subscription

• Step 8: Connect your PDA to your computer and log into Lexi-CONNECT by double-clicking the icon located on your desktop.
• Step 9: Select the "Download Now" button in Lexi-CONNECT.
• Step 10: Once the download is complete, a "Sync in Progress" message will be displayed. While this message is displayed, the databases will be transferred to your PDA. Please do not disconnect until this window has disappeared.

Download and Install the Lexi-Comp Application to your Device

• Step 1: Ensure you have a strong wi-fi or cellular connection on your Windows Mobile Device.
• Step 2: Navigate to http://windowsmobile.lexi.com using the default browser on your Windows Mobile Device.
• Step 3: Click the Download .NET Compact Framework link to download the .NET Framework required to install the Lexi-Comp Software.
• Step 4: If prompted, ensure you have the Open file after download option checked.
• Step 5: Click Yes to install the .NET Framework required for the Lexi-Comp software.
• Step 6: If prompted, you may receive a message that reads, "The previous version of Microsoft .NET CF 3.5 will be removed before the new one is installed. Select OK to continue". Click OK to this message.
• Step 7: Ensure Device is selected and click Install.
• Step 8: Click OK to the NETCFv35.vm.armv4i.CAB was successfully installed on your device message.
• Step 9: Navigate back to the http://windowsmobile.lexi.com site and click the Download Lexi-Comp ON-HAND link to download the LexiComp.CAB file.
• Step 10:If prompted, ensure you have the Open file after download option checked and click Yes to install the Lexi-Comp software.
• Step 11: Ensure Device is selected and click Install.
• Step 12: Click OK to the LexiComp.CAB was successfully installed on your device message.

• Step 14: If opening the application for the first time, please read and accept the license agreement.
• Step 15: Enter your registration information.
• Step 16: Tap Menu and Update. Select the databases you wish to update and tap the Update button.
